Mohammad is a final-year medical student at the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, expected to graduate in 2023 with MB, BCh, BAO (Hons). Mohammad is passionate about children’s health, paediatric medicine, mental health, and medical education. Mohammad is assisting on the Childhood Obesity LANDSCAPE study as a qualitative analyst.

He was also recently a qualitative analyst with the RCSI SIM Centre for Simulation Education and Research, looking into teaching paediatric-focused communication skills to medical students via simulation-based experiential learning.

He was the chairman of the Conference Committee for the Kuwaiti Medical Sciences Students Association in Ireland (KMSSAI) and an organizer for the KMSSAI 2020 & KMSSAI 2019 Health Sciences Conferences.

Currently, he is a student member of the Association for the Study of Obesity on the Island of Ireland (ASOI), the Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine (SESAM), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).

Awards given to Mohammad include Prof Mary Leader’s Medal in Pathology, Prof Tom Farrel’s Medal in Neuroscience, Kuwait’s Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) Gold Medal for Academic Excellence, Best Asset Based Community Development Poster in the Kilkenny Mental Health Service, and H.H. The Amir Of The State Of Kuwait’s Award for Excellence & Innovation.
